Who are we?
AFS Plan Management is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and registered with the Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as an independent Plan Management provider.
We are not affiliated with anyone, in other words we only do plan management and undertake no support coordination with the result that there is no conflict of services when dealing with us.

What do we do?
We undertake the day-to-day administration that comes with a NDIS plan, receiving invoices from providers, checking them for accuracy against your plan, claiming monies from the NDIA, making payments to your providers and sending you a monthly statement so that you can see what and how much you have utilised of your plan.
How do you benefit?
Using AFS Plan Management as your Plan Manager allows you the choice of using non-registered NDIS providers or therapists for stated supports in your plan, unlike if you remain agency managed with the NDIA.
There is no cost to you if Plan Management is included in your NDIS plan and does not affect your therapy and other plan funds.

What is the NDIS Plan?
The Australian National Disability Insurance Scheme is called the NDIS and is a new way to help people under 65 with disability get care and supports.
Participants have choice and control over the providers they engage to deliver supports in their plan and how they manage their plan. Participants may also change how their plan is managed over time, in response to their individual needs and circumstances.
The type of plan management a participant chooses will vary depending on their circumstances. Different options can be chosen for different supports and the types of providers that can deliver supports for each type of plan varies.
Plans can be: self-managed, plan managed or agency managed.
